Overview

Summary:

I am a veterinary scientist conducting research on vector-borne zoonotic diseases, while also collaborating on projects related to zoonotic and veterinary parasites. Specifically, our laboratory focuses on spotted fever group rickettsiae, with an emphasis on host-tick-pathogen interactions of tick-borne rickettsioses using a guinea pig model. My teaching is mainly related to parasitology & vector-borne diseases. Additional commitments include serving as a parasitology consultant & diagnostician.
