Our Difference

Teaching
Education Today for the World Tomorrow

The Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine DVM curriculum provides graduates with a strong, multi-species foundation and allows opportunity to focus on species or discipline interests.

We are one of only a few colleges of veterinary medicine that—like most colleges of human medicine—requires two full years of mentored clinical education in addition to two years of pre-clinical (classroom and laboratory) coursework.
