About the Career Expo
The CVM Career Expo has grown by leaps and bounds since its inception. Last year, there were 53 employers represented, and over 300 DVM, VMT, and graduate students participated. Representatives from various types of practice settings across the United States have been on site to recruit students for internships and externships as well as full-time positions after graduation.
Feedback from employers and vendors participating in the event indicates they find it a worthwhile experience, with an employer commenting, “This was honestly the best career fair I’ve attended as a recruiter. I have always known MSU students were well prepared, just by their exceptional NAVLE pass results, but being here and meeting your students really drove that home. Thank you for having us at your career fair!”

Sponsorship Opportunties
MSU CVM is grateful for all the employers who have hosted our students for internships and externships, as well as those who have sought after and hired our graduates over the years! Many of our students have job offers in hand prior to starting their fourth year, so we encourage employers to begin building relationships with students early in their program, even in their first year. New sponsorship opportunities are being considered for the 2026 CVM Career Expo and will be announced at a later date.
