Join us for Alumni Weekend on September 19-20 as we celebrate all CVM alumni! We are highlighting milestone reunions for the classes of 1985, 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015, and 2020. Let's reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate together!
Schedule of Events
Friday, September 19th
3:00pm – 5:00pm: CVM Tours
Come by the Wise Center and get a tour of the College of Veterinary Medicine. This will be a great opportunity to see updates to the college and reminisce about your time as a student.
6:00pm – 8:00pm: Reunion Dinner and Class Photos
Join us for dinner at Georgia Blue located at 207 South Jackson Street. This will be a fun, casual dinner and a great time to catch up with other CVM alum. There will be indoor and outdoor seating, great photo ops, music and door prizes!

Saturday, September 20th:
Alumni Tailgate:
Your MSU Alumni Association would like to invite you to the newly remodeled Mill, located at 600 Russell Street. Tailgating begins 3 hours before kickoff.
Alpha Psi Tailgate:
The Mississippi State University Alpha Psi Chapter also invites you to stop by their tailgate before kickoff. This is a great opportunity to meet and mingle with current veterinary students! This event is sponsored by the CVM Alumni Council. More details to come!
Bulldogs vs Huskies
Kickoff is at 3:15 pm. Join us at Davis Wade as we cheer on the Bulldogs to their victory over the Northern Illinois Huskies!

When is Alumni Weekend 2025?
Friday, September 19th and Saturday, September 20th
What class years will be celebrated this year?
1985, 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015, 2020
It is not my class reunion year. May I still attend?
Of course! All CVM Alumni are invited to attend!
Are spouses/partners/significant others/children invited?
Absolutely! We encourage returning alumni to bring their families.
What is the cost to register for Alumni Weekend? Do I need to register guests planning to attend with me?
Registration is $95 , and each person attending will need to be registered.
What is included with my Alumni Weekend registration?
Your Alumni Weekend registration is all inclusive! Activities include CVM Tours, dinner at Georgia Blue, a ticket to the Alumni Association Tailgate at The Mill, and access to the Alpha Psi Tailgate in the Junction. You will also receive a registration packet (one per family) with your name tag, guest(s) name tag, some awesome CVM swag, and your Alumni Weekend t-shirt(s)!
When does registration close?
Registration will close on September 17th. Early registration is encouraged so you don’t miss out!
Where do I check in to receive my Alumni Weekend registration materials?
Check in will take place at Georgia Blue. Just stop by the registration table prior to dinner to get your registration packet.
What should I wear to the reunion events?
Although the dress code is casual for the weekend, you might find the following helpful:
• Reunion Dinner apparel – Casual
• Tailgate apparel – Your MSU CVM Alumni t-shirt--or anything Mississippi State
How do I purchase football tickets?
Football tickets are included in the purchase of your Alumni Weekend registration and will be included in your registration pack you will receive during check-in.
I would like to make a gift in honor of my reunion, a classmate, a faculty member, a particular department or service, or another special connection I have to the college. How can I do that?
Great! We appreciate gifts of all sizes; every contribution helps! You can make an online gift at https://dda.msstate.edu/college-of-veterinary-medicine. There are several gifting areas to choose from, but if you need help deciding, below are some recommendations:
- College of Veterinary Medicine Advancement Fund, Fund 310810. Provides funding for faculty and staff enhancements, student activities, equipment, college leadership, and advancement activities.
- Companion Animals Require Excellence Fund (CARE), Fund 400160. Provides support for improvements in veterinary medical teaching, research and service within the Animal Health Center.
- MSU College of Veterinary Medicine Alumni Council (MSUCVMAC), Fund 313210. Provides support for the efforts of the Alumni Council for mentorship, events, and advancing the goals of the council.
